Ajang E3 2013 memang sudah berakhir, namun gaungnya sendiri masih terdengar jelas di telinga
gamer, bahkan hingga saat ini. Bagaimana tidak? Dengan kehadiran dua
platform next-gen terbaru – Playstation 4 dan Xbox One,
industri game dihadapkan pada sebuah arah baru dengan potensi yang
masih terbuka lebar. Developer kini dapat dengan bebas memperkenalkan
game next-gen mereka yang dibangun dengan beragam engine teranyar.
Beberapa judul baru diperkenalkan, dan tidak sedikit seri terbaru yang
menarik untuk diantisipasi. Dengan semua game dan fitur yang ditawarkan,
E3 2013 telah menjadi batu loncatan untuk menantikan kehadiran lebih
banyak kejutan di masa depan. Pertanyaannya kini, siapa yang pantas
dikategorikan sebagai yang terbaik selama event ini?
Nominasi untuk penghargaan resmi untuk “Yang Terbaik” selama ajang E3 2013 akhirnya telah ditentukan lewat Game Critics Award. Game-game ini dipilih oleh 30 kritikus dan reviewer yang dianggap paling berpengaruh di media game luar negeri. Syarat untuk masuk ke dalam nominasi ini sederhana, game harus dapat dimainkan oleh para juri secara langsung. Oleh karena itu, semua game yang hanya diperkenalkan dalam bentuk trailer dan tidak bisa dimainkan tidak masuk ke dalam nominasi game terbaik E3 2013 “Game Critics Award” ini.
